ForeBatten Foundation

Karen and David Kahn are the parents of two young girls that suffer from a fatal illness known as Batten’s Disease. They came to BIG YAM in need of a logo, branding, and new website for their organization, the ForeBatten foundation, which is dedicated to funding research for this illness. The butterfly icon, along with its bright colors, symbolizes hopefulness and the spirit of the Kahn girls. The font choice denotes the girls’ youth, and also demonstrates a sense of stability. The website carries the symbolism of the logo further in an effort to not only educate others about Batten disease, but also shine a spotlight on those affected by this illness.
